Nothing’s more dangerous than a familiar face.
POLAROID KINGDOM is an indie atmospheric horror short that uses polaroids to tell the chilling story of the bond between sisters from beyond the grave as one family grapples with the death of their youngest daughter. Created by a talented duo of SVA grads, Team POLAROID KINGDOM brings to life a world in which polaroid montages allow us to see grief through a childlike, imaginative-yet-haunting lens.
CREATED BY: Alexandra Boskovich & Max Seiler
Coping with the death of a child is unfathomable, but imagine what it’s like for the child lost? POLAROID KINGDOM gives us a haunting-yet-imaginative glimpse into the childlike perception of death and the aftermath of grief as we experience a day in the life of Lisa, a big sister longing for what once was, and Tammy, her little sister who struggles to hold on to what will no longer be.
From left to right: Sonia Foltarz, Alex Boskovich, Diego Cordero, Max Seiler, and Sam Reetz.
